Why do you think the user make renders at 2:22 and 3:18? Why do you think we don’t regularly make renders when working in Blender today?

Current versions of Blender allow the user to easily look at what the finished model looks like - which is why the user makes renders in the video. In Blender, it’s easy to see a similar view from any angle without making renders.

Which functions / buttons from 3DS 4 are in Blender too? Name at least 3 similarities.

Blender has a scale, rotate, and move function like 3DS 4, allowing objects to be manipulated. In addition, it has functions like mirror and move / insert vertex which can help change the geometry of the shape.

What year is 3DS 4 from? Google / name two 3D games from that year.

3DS 4 was released in 1994. Some 3D games that came out in that year are Doom II and Need for Speed.

Google any 3D modeling tool other than Max, Maya, or Blender. What's it called? Who uses it? Would YOU want to use it?

One tool is SketchUp, which is used in architecture and 3D printing to design buildings. I considered studying architecture as a profession, so if I ever want to get more into that I think it would be good software to try out.
